Medium Voltage Switchgear

In medium voltage switchgear range most widely accepted technology is Vacuum in compare to SF6. In most of the cases medium voltage breakers are used in the distribution segment & located in populated areas. Vacuum technology is the only solution for medium voltage application SF6 gas is very hazardous for human & therefore for remote application SF6 technology is used. SF6 technology is commonly used in high voltage application I,e above 66KV class.
